Let It Blow My Way LIVE

Here's a particularly moving moment from the gig I did with Stevie Gurr at Jennifer's Coffee Connection. (At least I found it moving.) It tells the true story of the genesis of this song, which was written for Barry Bunce, a great animation storyboard artist who was struggling with cancer when this song became his assignment. I wanted to give him something uplifing that he'd want to get up each day and work on.  The BG vocals you hear here are none other than Mr. Doug Day, who came by for the gig en route from Ojai to Maine. Thanks, Doug!

You can find Stevie and his band Emith doing High Sierra over in Other Folks Nuggets. You can find this song at Dean Stevens feature in The Great Unknown, and also listen to and purchase a version by the Backboners, if you are so inclined.
